  Stay away! Put my car in for a repair check on the Friday morning as was overheating. I'd already done previous research indicating it may be either head gasket, thermostat or an air lock. I rang up in the afternoon for an update and they hadn't had time to look at it. Fair enough. I rang up again before closing and they said that they took a look and couldn't find the problem and tried to fob me off to a different garage. They then agreed to look at it again on the Saturday. I had to ring for an update to find out they had looked at it earlier on in the day but didn't bother to update me. They still couldn't located the problem. They said leave it with them until Monday, so I did. I rang at Monday at mid day and they suggested I take it to the brand dealer. I instead took it to the halfords in Brighton on the Tuesday. They said they may not be able to look at it until Friday, I said ok. They rung me at half 12 saying it was just an air lock and they bled everything and now it's all working fine. No cost to me, free of charge. Choose Brighton over Hove anyday. Poor service. Poor communication. Not an ounce of apology when picking the car up. Highly recommend the Brighton branch, good communication and great service. Hove... Stay away! This isn't the first time I've had problems.

  I had a really great experience with the Hove Halfords Autocentre, fast and friendly! The manager at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful!
